I installed Groupshield 5.2 on fresh setup R6 Domino Server (W2K-WS SP3, all Microsoft updates)It works!!
Try as follows:
1) Ghost your Systemdrive and Domino Drive
2) Copy Domino Data Directory to another
location
3) save id´s and Notes.ini, maybe other notes related ini´s
4) Uninstall Groupshield 5.0a
5) Uninstall Domino 5.08
6) move the remaining files to another Directory
7) Install Domino R6
8) copy Names.nsf, events4, certlog and all other systemfiles
9) launch R6
10) after inital Setup and upgrading all database shut down Domino
11) compare Notes.ini with saved one from 3)and modifiy to conditon from former Version
(log settings, etc)
12) install Groupshield 5.2
with new databases
13) Launch System
14) configure Groupshield by comparing with saved Groupshield´s Databases.
15) You then must have a New Dominos system with configurations as before
I will try it also, I think it will work, cause tje migration path is similar as I dif from R457c to R505
